Remove Age/Sun Spots in Cedar Park, TX
Two words, sun exposure. Years of overexposure to the sun can cause solar lentigines, also referred to as “liver spots”, “age spots” and “brown spots” to appear on the skin.
The most common areas to see the pigmented areas are on the face, hands, neck, back and shoulders or anywhere on the body that has had excessive exposure to the sun.
With our OmniMax laser, we can successfully lighten and remove the spots with ease.
Will the brown spot reappear after being in the sun?
It can be quite common to have the same spot reappear after several months of heavy sun exposure. We highly advise to use SPF 30 or higher on a daily basis following the treatment (we have options for you). If the area treated is not exposed to the sun early on, the likelihood of the spot appearing is extremely low.
What will the age spot look like after treatment?
The pigmented area will appear darker, similar to a mole, as it begins to flake off resembling “pepper flakes”. This process will take approximately one to two weeks, depending on the area of the body.
What does the treatment feel like?
Our OmniMax laser will quickly deliver a pulse of light energy with some warmth to each area being treated. Depending on the size of the pigmented lesion, one pulse may be all that is needed. This makes the treatment affordable and easy.
Any area of the body can be treated with the by our OmniMax laser. Depending on how many areas we are treating will determine your cost.
It is advisable to schedule a complimentary consultation to determine if the lesions are treatable.
